Connect Answered by Steve to ChatGPT

Install and sign into the Windows app first. Then connect the same Answered by Steve account to ChatGPT.

1. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
2. Open Settings, then Plugins, and select the plus button.
3. Name the app Answered by Steve.
4. Describe it as secure routing from ChatGPT to your own Windows computer.
5. For the MCP server URL, enter https://steve.answeredbysteve.com/mcp.
6. Select Create. When sign-in opens, use the same Answered by Steve account as the Windows app.
7. Open a new chat, select +, then More, then Answered by Steve.
8. Ask: Check whether my Windows computer is connected.

This developer-mode step is for private beta testing. After public plugin approval, customers will select Answered by Steve directly from ChatGPT without entering the MCP URL.
