Visual Claude setup
Connect Answered by Steve to Claude.
Install and sign in to the Answered by Steve app first. Then copy its MCP Tunnel URL and follow the five steps below.

Claude custom connector guide
Claude's interface may move slightly over time. Follow the labels shown in each screenshot.
When Answered by Steve asks you to sign in, use only the Answered by Steve account you created on answeredbysteve.com.
01Open CustomizeStart from Claude's main menu.+
Select Customize
Open Claude and select Customize in the lower-left menu.
02Open ConnectorsManage Claude's available connections.+
Select Connectors
Inside Customize, open Connectors.
03Add a connectorStart the custom connector form.+
Select Add custom connector
Choose Add custom connector from the Connectors page.
04Enter the name and MCP Tunnel URLCopy the exact URL from the Answered by Steve app.+
Create the Answered by Steve connector
- In the Answered by Steve app, select MCP Setup.
- Select Copy Tunnel URL.
- In Claude, enter Answered by Steve as the name and paste the URL into the connector URL field.
- Select Add.
Use the copied URL exactly. Do not type it manually or replace it with a website address.
05Sign in and confirm ConnectedAuthorize Claude with your Answered by Steve account.+
Complete the Answered by Steve sign-in
When prompted, sign in with the same Answered by Steve account used by your client. After authorization finishes, confirm that Claude shows Answered by Steve as Connected.
The first time Claude uses each Answered by Steve tool, it may ask whether to allow it once or always. Choose Allow always only for tools you trust to run without repeated confirmation.
Connection check
Test the completed setup.
Open a new Claude conversation and ask it to check whether your computer is connected.
